MISSION STATEMENT
The Good Friend exists to provide support and resources for the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual need of individuals and families in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
VISION STATEMENT
The Good Friend takes roots from the story of The Good Samaritan found in the Gospel according to Luke 10:25-37 in which Jesus challenges believers to care for others, engage with the non-believers and introduce them to Jesus Christ.
A single drop of faith can ripple outward, becoming a river of hope, healing, and renewed possibility.
Where the search for clean water begins, something deeper is often discovered: the strength, dignity, and potential already present within a community. Access to safe water can restore more than health. It can open doors to education, strengthen families, empower women and children, and help communities imagine a future no longer limited by scarcity.
What was once marked by uncertainty can become a story of renewal, resilience, and shared purpose. Through faith, compassion, and action, lives are refreshed with the reminder that hope can rise even in the driest places.

Explore the story behind a mission rooted in faith, service, and lasting change.
This work is about more than assistance. It is about walking alongside people as hope is restored, futures are strengthened, and communities are refreshed through faith, compassion, and action.
